Some times, funeral homes amaze me. Kathy Johnson filed a class action lawsuit Friday against the Warren Funeral Chapel. Her mother’s 2006 burial was handled by the funeral home, and she says she still doesn’t know if her mother is buried where the home claims, at Rockbridge Cemetery. The funeral home has been the focus of numerous complaints, and the attorney general is trying to force its closure. Let’s hope that happens. The death of a loved one is hard enough without having to worry about a greedy corporation lying about the location of one’s remains.
