KV Pharmaceutical to recall most products

KV Pharmaceutical announced Monday that it would recall most of its products after conferring with federal safety regulators. The latest announcement follows recalls last year over fears that oversized painkiller and attention-deficit disorder tablets could deliver dangerously large dosages. The Food and Drug Administration subsequently opened an investigation into the company’s quality control standards.
Shares of KV Pharmaceutical Co. (nyse: KVA – news – people ) fell $1.64, or 73 percent, to 60 cents in morning trading. You can read more HERE.
