Free Case Evaluations Being Offered to Public for Medical Malpractice Claims
The New YorkTimes (5/27, A24, Hartocollis) reports that “New York City’s public hospital system said on Wednesday that some of the thousands of heart test results that were never sent to doctors at Harlem Hospital Center since 2007 had shown signs of abnormal heart function.” Officials at the hospital “made the admission a day after acknowledging that results of 4,000 of the tests, called echocardiograms, had never been seen by doctors because of a practice of allowing technicians to read them first.” New York’s “health commissioner, Dr. Richard Daines, has ordered a state investigation into how the oversight occurred and whether there were any health hazards as a result.”
Some hospitals are filled with overworked and undertrained employees and agents, from doctors in the emergency room to nurses on a patient floor to the workers in the labs and more. Every year, more than 98,000 persons die as a result of preventable medical errors. We are medical malpractice attorneys who are willing to discuss the facts of your potential claim. Perhaps you or a loved one were the victim of medical malpractice in a hospital as a direct result of the hospital not providing test results, or the physician failed to properly read test reports and diagnose cancer or another illness. If so, please contact us today. We handle medical malpractice cases on a contingency fee basis for residents of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. If you receive no settlement or judgment at trial, there is no fee.
If you or a loved one believes you are the victim of medical malpractice and the failure to diagnose cancer, please call us today for a free case evaluation: (901) 527-2125.
